Question:
Anyone ever visit/have success with chiropractic technique(s) for hand/finger problems? I've have quite a bit of pain in my left thumb if I try to play at all. Afterwards I can barely bend it. My left wrist sounds like a gravel crusher when I move it, as well.
Anyway - if anyone has had success with chiropractic (I've already tried physical therapy, ostepathic, acupuncture, anti-inflammatories), please reply - also, if there's a name to the technique/specialty please let me know.

Yep - medial epicondylities and osteo arthritis.
I really miss being able to play without pain. If I put on super light strings and tune down, I'm good for about 1/2 an hour every other day.
Guess the next step's steroids.

I suspect that a chiropractor won't help much with arthritis since they are more about bone alignment. IF the damage has already occurred they won't do much but take your money.
You might try hot wax...I've heard that works well for arthritis but have no experience with it. The arthritis I have is in my knees and doesn't affect my guitar playing ;)

Chiro's are quacks, I'd know, I'm an insurance claims adjuster. I wish I could help you. I hope I don't suffer too much from arthritis later in life, unfortunately my mom has it pretty bad already and she's only 54.
