Looking for more info on volume pot modification
Question: Hopefully someone can chime in on this. I was jamming around on some guitars with a guy I was doing an amp trade with, and he told me about a resistor or capacitor or something that he had installed on most of his guitars. Basically with this small mod there is a lot more clarity when you roll the volume knob down. I could definitely tell a big difference but I forgot what it is he had done to them. Answer: It's called a "treble bleed circuit". Answer: OK, i think I remember him saying something like that. Answer: It's called a "treble bleed circuit". What's in a "treble bleed circuit"? Is it just a smaller value cap? EDIT - Never mind - I found it. Answer: Here's a thread from a few days ago: /....php?t=1983181 Answer: Great info there, thanks.
