GFS - Dual humbucker humming

Question:
So I ordered one of the GFS Prewired pickguards with 2 humbuckers and installed it tonight. I think I may have screwed something up(although I didn't think that would be possible). The only wires to solder are a positive, negative and ground. When I got it put back together, there is a massive hum that gets louder when I touch the strings. Anyone have any ideas on what I could have done wrong? Thanks in advance!

Answer:
You are probably not getting a good ground to the bridge. Use a multimeter to check for continuity between the ground and strings/bridge.

Answer:
Thanks! I'll see what I can figure out.

I checked for continuity between ground and bridge. It seemed fine, but still no sound unless I touched the pickup mounting screws with my hand(WTF?). I grabbed a wire and soldered it to the bridge and just started touching metal with it until I got sound. I ended up having to solder another wire from the ground at the bridge, to the switch to get the rig to work. I thought it was pre-wired and ready to go from GFS.:freak: Not sure why or how, but it's working now! Not too bad for $37.00
