I'm being offered a Gibson Classic 1960's Les Paul in bullion gold for $1,500. I'm more than willing to sell my Telecaster for this guitar (which I will definitely do if I pull the trigger.) I figure it'll sell for around $850-900 so I'll even out financially. So, I guess my question is... is $1,500 for a minty Gibson Classic with its original hard shell case a great deal?

What year? If it's a 90-93 it's a great deal. If it's 2003- it's a good deal.
