The Cordoba Fusion 14 fret nylon string is a new series that has just hit the market in the States, and will be out in Europe later on this year. It can be seen here :
I'd appreciate any feedback on this model, as it looks exactly what I'm looking for, and the price is also attractive. I'm nowhere near one...

Haven't played one...but the GC in Baltimore that I go to every now and again carries a lot of Cordoba classicals (I also bought my Cordoba gypsy jazz box from there). I may just have to sneak over there this weekend...

I received prices for these three models from the Cordoba dealer in Germany : (prices are in Euros, do the conversion)
449 for the Fusion 14
499 for the Fusion RS and Jet
649 for the Rose
In the States prices will probably be lower.
NOW will someone find one and play it??

Looks like a dandy guitar. I think if the top were rosewood it would say so. Rosewood is pretty dense to make much of a guitar top. It would have to be really thin to project much volume. Most likely it is a stained tone wood and your guess would be as good as mine. Available in "Jet" which is probably the same tone wood dyed black.
I couldn't find it listed on the GC website so making a trip to a GC store to play it might not get it done.

A guy I know has two of these Cordoba nylon acoustic/electrics. I don't know anything about classical guitar tone but when they were plugged in I really dug the way they sounded--all the way up and down the neck. Great action and general playability too. I wanted to get their Gypsy Kings model but it was too expensive.

Sure, it LOOKS good - but that's what advertising is all about, right? We're not going to get an OUTSTANDING sound for this price, but what WILL we get?
