They sell at a great price... and it looks like you get quite a bit for what you pay for! I played one today, and it played great without being setup or anything. I could just imagine the potential. This one looks awesome!! I would swap those emg's for nickel covered rio grande's.

Got a Patriot Custom for $400 new. (Music 123 spend $500 get $100 off deal), I had someone match the M123 deal. Great looks craftmanship. Plays even better. The premiums look killer too.
The only issue is that I just found out the guitar has to go back to Korea in 2018 or it will esplode:lol:
BTW checl out their new hex and vex. The one with the OFR wammy looks great but I'm a littler old for the look......

I had one briefly that had to go back due to damage in shipping, really impressed with the build and playability, pup were decent and it had split coils as well which were pretty cool.
How ever mine was sold as a maple cap and it aint, just a different shade of paint.

I got 2 of them a Patriot& a Valor Custom ,the Patriot is as good as any Les Paul out there I have Epi Custom & Std. & Gibson Les Pauls (gonna pickup a Gibson Vint. Ant. today)the Valor is a shorter guitar with good pups but the neck is set too deep into the short body,the Patriot is just an awesome deal & plays very well even if where more money cant say enuff good things about it,my Epis feel cheap in my hand compared to the MK

2 Attachment(s) These are amazing guitars for the money. They just require replacing some of the cheap parts (pots, nut, etc..). They are the best LP copy out there but with it's own look (more like a mandolin). This is my MK Patriot Goldtop. It's heavy, weighing in at 9.5lbs. The neck is little narrow compared to a LP but this is a non issue for me. I have also have a Patriot Shadow which has been modified with a Dimarzio Super Distortion in the bridge and a Gibson P-94in the neck, bone nut, locking tuners, and Gibson pots. These guitars are gaining a rep and will be a force in the marketplace.

Not trying to bash you or anything,Im going to guess u just arent familiar with this method-Its the same top,just the edges are left plain/unstained etc.We call it "natural binding". PRS,Alembic and some other higher-end makers do this often. It gives the look of having wood binding,without actually having to go and set a seperate peice of wood for the binding. The lighter section u are seeing is actually the same edge of the Mahogany body wood.Its a cosmetic/artistic touch.And it is intentional,not a mistake,or error or blem.
And yes the tops are maple,not very thick like the cap of a Les Paul or PRS,but a thin slice (not just veneer,usually) for a nice look.
