Welcome to www.todayaq.com !!!

Man, I LOVE P90 pickups... Clip enclosed.

Question:
Man,
The PRS SE ONE is killin' me with the tones I am able to get. Here is a relatively lower gain clip from me. Hard to believe huh? Anyway, as usual it is a quicky with one take on each of 4 tracks. 2 rhythms panned hard left and right, bass and drums down the middle as is the "lead track".
Hope it isn't too crappy!
Love to hear comments on the tone, I know the playing isn't much. If you listen to the lead parts, you can really tell how little gain is being used.

Answer:
I just got a P90 guitar myself and I'm in LOVE!

Answer:
Excellent! I usually don't associate P90's with modern high gain tones, but that sounds great.

Answer:
Grabbing the track.
Some have said Mike Bloomfield's playing on "Live at Bill Graham's Fillmore West" was not the sunburst Les Paul with 'buckers but his earlier P90 equipped goldtop he traded Dan Erlewine.
The sound is really zingy, like brand new strings. I've never heard a
'bucker equipped Lester sound like that.
So if it was P90s, no wonder everyone loves them - they have what is
best about single coil pickups with the gainy saturation of the 'buckers.

Answer:
Great stuff!!

Answer:
Freaking finish that song. Or play more. It was awesome! It ended and I was like "....awwwww"

Acoustic Effects (cool or uncool)?
Except for the hum/noise, any reason singlecoils aren't used with distortion?
