I had a friend sit in for me since I'm having this elbow problem, so about 9 as they were getting ready to start I get a crazy phone call that says "get your ass down here quick, and bring a guitar"..
so I get there and the lead players tele with b-bender the bridge pup wont work and the drumers snare / kick mic's were dead..
I spend the next 30 mins taking over the pool table to rewire the tele switch so he would have the bridge pup, and then rewiring the pa so the drummers mic's would work.
dunno what they hell they did to break this crap but wtf...
nothing like some drunk stumbling up to you screaming get the guitar off the pool table we wanna play..
rest of the night went ok..

Hope your doctor told you to ice pack that elbow about 5-6 times a day for 30 minutes a time. Helps the healing process along.
