Its amazing the caliber of writing that comes out of sweden, and the production too. Its it just me guys, or do you think swede's and fin's just have something in their blood for writing good music. Dont get me wrong, us americans write good music too, but there is just some kind of magic happening over there. Discuss.........

i checked it out, and while its not bad, it still sounds too repetitive/formulaic and too much like Soilwork for me to really respect these guys :o

Yeah the newer soliwork and in flames stuff isnt that good, but the older stuff cant be beat.

I would guess that since Europeans have more exposure to classical music, this classical influence shows up in modern compositions. I completely love that. Then again i can't stand blues-based playing, which is where "traditional" rock has its roots.
