Man. I am leaving the country this sunday and I will not be back before my 45 day musicians friend guarantee expires.
Other than a tiny scratch here and there (on the pick ups mainly) my main problem is some heavy duty fret buzz on a few strings. I do not have an amp with me, so I am listening to it acoustically only. The notes sound, with decent sustain, but the buzz is heavy. I am not a tech and don't want to mess around with the action. Intonation seems to be fine, have not tried the pickp ups.
I don't recall any of my guitars before having this heavy a buzz. I have a gig this following wednesday. My thing is, do I take it and risk it, or return it and find a way to gig on wednesday?
Other than that, it plays fine. Workmanship seems sloppy, barely passable for an 800 dollar guitar. But it is supposed to be set up in the US, and gibson let it slide with some heavy fret buzz. Don't know what to do.......

Will try to upload pics later. Cosmetically it is fine. Three open strings and maybe another half a dozen notes around the fretboard have different amounts of buzz, one or two seem to buzz back to the zero fret thing or steinberger nut, or whatever it is called. It p****s me off to have to send it back.
