Question:
Hi everyone,
I just recieved a new CA cargo that I ordered from " Stars" guitars in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. When I called Jim the owner to get one he mistakenly gave me the wrong price on the phone. He quoted me the price
for the non-pickuped guitar when in fact it was the one with a pickup. I found this out when I called him to let him know that the cashier's check was on it's way. Being a standup guy he still gave me the price he had quoted me.
It only makes me want to be a future customer when I order something. As for the guitar, I can't believe the nice sound that comes from such a small-
bodied guitar! Very nice plugged in too, with a nice bass responce and well balanced treble. I won't be sacrificing sound when I take it on vacation. It goes without saying that I'm a very satisfied customer.

Love it when people are honourable, may I hazard a guess that he is an independant retailer. What made you buy that particular model? I only ask as I was after one for my girlfriend Little Martin Baby Taylor etc

I choose this model pretty much by the good reviews the company has been getting for quite some time. It was a roll of the dice that turned out good. My friend has the hpl martin and it is ok but allthough I've yet to compare the sound side by side, it really seems to have a better sound to my ears. I'll know more when I compare them. And yes he is an independant retailer.
