Finishing up my first strat, bridge quality issue...
Question: I got a bridge for it. It's a hardtail Wilkinson. Bent steel saddles that can be cinched to the base, but mounted on a chrome plated aluminum base. I was told it was a great bridge and the base part wouldn't have any effect on the tone. Is that true? Answer: I spent a lot of time on this prodject. I just want to be sure I'm not settling for a crappy counterfeit bridge. I can't find it on any web page anywhere. Not even Wilkinsons homepage. Someone please help me. Does Wilkinson make hardtail bridges for strats at all. Great news about one of my students? Most accurate stompbox tuner? GAS for a Telecaster? One Of My Favorite Scenes in Filmdom?
