We all have tinnitus to a lesser or greater extent. Whether you realise it or not. I have an acoustic test chamber a couple of metres behind me as I type. Go lie in there with the door closed for a couple of minutes and you will hear your own tinnitus. Funnily enough, mine was really quite annoying this morning - unusual.
