I seem to recall hearing that James Hetfield has it as well, but that shouldn't surprise anyone.
While we're on the subject, let me give a plug ( :badump: ) for Etymotic ER-20 earplugs, which have the clearest frequency response of any off-the-shelf (i.e., not custom-molded) earplugs out there. I bring a pair to every rock concert I attend, and I wear them on stage as well. Three days of ringing ears after a Dream Theater concert in 2000 scared me straight on that matter.

Answer:
Did someone say something? ;)

We all have tinnitus to a lesser or greater extent. Whether you realise it or not. I have an acoustic test chamber a couple of metres behind me as I type. Go lie in there with the door closed for a couple of minutes and you will hear your own tinnitus.
Funnily enough, mine was really quite annoying this morning - unusual. Not sure if it was due to too much cofee or not enough!
