I'm all for buying what you like, but eventually you reach a point of "why bother?" with a collection like that.. I mean, how different can 400 RG-based guitars be?
Different pickups, ok..
Different hardware, ok but Ibanez only makes about 3 decent trems..
Different necks, ok, but again, only a few don't suck..
Different paintjobs, ok, I can see that if it were some custom 1-off graphics or something.. But collecting every color of some standard issue RG? BORING!

I think he's a Hoshino acolyte. I can understand having the classic 70s
artists and vine inlay Bob Weirs and artwood twin doubleneck and having
two examples of the RG, S, and Radius and the Gambale but 37 RGs must
just mean he wants excessive amounts of everything he likes.
For me, I see all of those tuners and my mind goes blank, who keeps them
all in tune?

(The little parlour acoustic -- a copy of a Martin 0-18 -- is something of a rarity: a mid-70s handmade prototype for a proposed model which never went into production. I love it because it's a gorgeous wee guitar, but it may have added value for collectors. Dunno ...)
