Dumb Craigslist "Buyers"

Question:
Post your stories about idiot replies you've received in regards to gear you've listed on Craigslist.
One time, I had a PRS up there and a guy responded to me with a list of garbage that he would trade, including computer monitors from the 80s, a fan, other bullshit like that.
Today, I got a reply about the JCM800 head I'm selling. The picture in the ad is of the head sitting on top of a Marshall BX cab. There's no mention of the cab anywhere in the ad, and the only details listed are about the head... I'm selling it locally for $800, and the guy asks if the $800 includes the head and the cab.

Answer:
Can't blame him for trying...

Answer:
Wait....so you want $800 for the amp AND the cab? Are you willing to ship? You pay for shipping, of course.

Answer:
I had a guy ask me if any kind of electric guitar could plug into my amp for sale, or if he needed a special kind of guitar. WTF?

Answer:
Scott, I think you and I got the same email. Everytime I post something on the Chicago craigslist, I get this LONG email of all this crap he's offering to trade, in very verbose descriptions.

Answer:
someone tried to trade me a PSP AND 20 bucks for an Engl fireball.

Answer:
Nothing too outlandish. I get a lot of people emailing me very interested asking if I still have something. I'll send confirmation and give them my number and never hear from them again.
Once I was selling a MIK Squier Tele for only $100 and a guy asked me if I'd take $50. Offering 50% of the asking price is beyond low balling.

Answer:
I posted an add on Toledo Craigslist to sell my JCM900 head and cab for $800 and a guy sent an email offering $275, then minutes later sent another offering $250.

Answer:
last year I was going to sell my DWs, pretty nice kit in great shape, I thought at 2k for the shells and 2 mint DW multi stands it would sell fast...no. But I did have an assload of calls wanting to know I would go lower...Would I take $800 cash? would I take $800 cash...and let him make payments? For a few months? WTF? anyway, they have been in teh cases and only been out once for a pickup gig.

Answer:
But that's still more than it's worth.
:o
 Maybe but a lot of people really like those Korean Squiers.

Answer:
Maybe but a lot of people really like those Korean Squiers. I know...I'm kidding...I've had the same Squire strat for 11 years. Granted...it's painted like EVH's now and it's pretty much wall decoration....but still...

Scott, I think you and I got the same email. Everytime I post something on the Chicago craigslist, I get this LONG email of all this crap he's offering to trade, in very verbose descriptions. Oh my God. I don't need that guy's flash drive or VCR or the other shit he's got. What a damned fool.
In addition, I hate the e-mails that say "has it sold yet?" When you tell them yes, you never hear from them again.

In addition, I hate the e-mails that say "has it sold yet?" When you tell them yes, you never hear from them again. Well, you would think so?! Why would they keep bugging you?

Answer:
Some dude told me Bogner gear doesn't sell for close to what I am asking so he offered me $1400 for my Shiva, 2x12, and G-Major. I mean I am willing to work on my prices, but man...

Answer:
The last two things I sold on CL, the guys actually expected me to make change. I'm not talking $5, either. You know the price in advance, have it when you come out, it doesn't say Washington Mutual above my door. Of course they both offered less than the price to "make it easy". I told them there's a store down the street, go buy a Mt. Dew to break that $50 and "make it easy".
Just another attempt to lowball you.

I ALWAYS come with the correct amount of money.

Answer:
