well aside from faking a used/abused guitar look being a really dumb idea.... this guitar does not looked like a relic... I don't know if that's a bad thing or a good thing. Really it just looks like you accidentally sand papered it.
But I like the guitar!!

my roomate has a naturally relic'd schecter Omen. He cleaned it too much and now there's a wear spot in the same place. I think it looks cool, but now he's afraid to play it 'cause he may wear on it some more. Point being, I dig the relic'ing on any guitar, but I think you were a little overzealous (wear mark is too big). Just bang around on the guitar some more from there and I'm sure it will get the character you're looking for.

If you are going to "relic" an instrument, it's work on every part, not just the body. Taking some sandpaper to those knobs to dull them up would be my first suggestion. Then just make an effort to make every part look older.
But yeah, a Schecter just isn't a guitar I think of when I think of a "relic." :idk:
