planet waves chord finder
Question: Those electronic chord finders, does anyone use them? They any good? Answer: I have one. They're small and portable but nothing more than a chord dictionnary and it doesn't have all the altered chords that a Jazz chart might throw at you. Also. the little roman number for the fret nr. is impossible to read (too small) for an old man like me. is better but not quite as portable... Answer: it sucks don't waste your money Answer: The better approach is to learn the chord forms and learn the root note for each. Then it's a simiple matter of finding the right place on the finger board to play it to get the chord you need. I never play chords with open strings because I need to be able to control them. So I learned the forms and then it's pretty simple to apply them once you have them down. It's also trivial to change keys. So work on chord forms. Answer: C A G E D Answer: C A G E D this is the real answer. course, it requires learning. not sure how that will go over with this crowd.
