New band clip from last night(DSL Toanz!!!)

Question:
Here's some video we got of last nights gig. The end has a couple clips from other gigs too. I'm using a DSL50, the other guitarist is using a 1987x, and the Singer is using a Twin Reverb.
We had a professional photographer taking pics as well...she just sent me these:
And now on to the video.

Answer:
And here's what it looked like directly behind us:

Polo shirts unite!!!
Sounds good, but where's the energy?

Answer:
Polo shirts unite!!!
Sounds good, but where's the energy? The Energy came later...the bassists g/f(Video taker) only stayed for the first 30 minutes or so...and that's when people were just coming in and talking/greeting...they weren't even really paying attention to us at this point.
Not to worry...about an hour after that, I was ripping through a Zeppelin solo whilst standing on a table. :cop:
And it's funny you mention the polo shirts...it was pure coincidence...I only own 1 or 2...but decided to wear it since it was a "Private Yacht Club". :cop:

Answer:
How do you compare the 1987x and DSL to each other in a live situation? I'm starting up a side project with a friend and he has money right now to splurge on some new gear. I've been trying to get him to go a Marshall-ish route and he's looking at the 1987x (plus boost) and 2203KK. I have a DSL and plan on keeping it that way so I'm curious to see how the two mesh.

But it would've been better if it were a "Pirate Yacht Club." I actually like how all 3 of you actually know your way around a guitar too. I don't know how you got that lucky. I always get stuck with the rhythm guitarists that are like "now how do I make this chord minor again?"

Answer:
Short hair and no bulging crotch:cop: I can't grow my hair long because of my job. :(
The man is always trying to hold me down.
And the bulge must have been over to the right...the guitar is covering it. :cop:

Arr Matey.
Yeah, I'm lucky...the singer, who's probably the least skilled out of the three on guitar...is still pretty good, and played lead in his old band.

I actually love his tone. It's a little bit smoother than mine, but they work together really well. He boosts his with a Tube Driver, or a Metal Zone. Don't laugh, the metal zone sounds great as a boost through it, if you take the time to EQ it right.

Answer:
Good toanz on teh Santaria solo, that proves you can get good cleans with EMGs. Is that a 60?

Answer:
too.....
much.....
nu-metal facial hair. :cop:

Answer:
Are you running standard G12T75's? Have you ever tried Greenbacks with your amp? I'm running my DSL through a 1960BX and it's definitely helped with the smoothness.

nu-metal facial hair. :cop: lolwat? I have a goatee and sideburns, and the other guitarist has a beard. Then the other three guys are clean shaven. Sorry if we're not emo enough for you, but that's far from nu-metal. :cop: :cop: :cop:

Answer:
That's cool. Nothing wrong with those 75's. I actually want to get a 1960B and a 1960BV just for variety.
