Is the pickguard included in the package of the Les Paul standard faded?

Question:
well?:thu:

Answer:
yup- should be in the case.

Answer:
Suppose to be, I didn't get one. Guitar Center is tough if you don't watch them with stuff like this. They don't like giving up hang-tags and the original paper work either.

I had the same problem with them with a Classic Player 60 Strat. No Gig Bag, Paper-Work and they tried to give me the wrong Trem Arm. I eneded up picking a Vintage Aged Trem Arm out of a desk draw they had with 50-100trem arms.
But hey, If you really like the guitar and the price is right? Some things I guess you have to let go of too?
My Faded Standard has a nice decent Top and the Stop-Tail and Bridge sit on the body nice. Which means basically the neck is well set. In my experience with Gibson these are good QC issues to keep an eye on with them. There is a 5000th difference in Tolerence from the USA Standard to a CS LP with the set-neck. I assume the Studios are the same.
But if you look you could find a nice one.

Answer:
mine had one.

Answer:
Throw it away if it does have one.

Answer:
I'm going to buy it tomorrow...should I ask for a discount if it's not included?
Also, there's a link to the gibson website where I can prove the salesman there should be a pickguard in the case?

Answer:
um... shouldn't the pickguard be on the guitar? :freak:

Answer:
It's pictured without the pickguard everywhere, but a lot of people say that you should find it in the case...
