Hi everyone..
so i finally have her..
long story short, I won a Gibson ES-333 nearly 3 months ago in a eBay auction..
paid within a week (paypal wont let me send more than $100 so i had to use bank trasfer), the guy shipped it very quickly using USPS, said it should take 6-10 days, it took 2,5 months to deliver, and than i found my lovely Gibson with a broken neck (shipped in a box, in a SKB hardshell case), so I refused to take it with me from the post office and let them send it back.. (had the money back already because the guy was good enough to refund me already since USPS though its lost, as we did..)
So I won another one which came to me unscratched in about 10 days (in a soft case btw)..
Its a lovely guitar.. Put Flatwound .011s, pickups covers and swapped the knobs on her, and will be replacing the neck pickup with a Phat Cat (not that it would sound bad, i just want to try a P-90 style pickup in her..)..
I have a very lovely '91 Epiphone Sheraton (even with fret-end binding) and even though I love that guitar, the Gibson is better in both the sound and the fell..

Looks just like my 339 minus the pickguard. How's the 333 different? The top looks different, too.

the 333 has a satin finish, larger body style (like a 335) and a rear route with cover for the controls. other than that, i think they're similar.

Looks just like my 339 minus the pickguard. How's the 333 different? The top looks different, too. just like GreatDane said + different pickups and headstock inlays.. lovely guitar btw, i was considering a 339 as well, but that smaller body don't appeal to me somehow..
