Sore arse (ass)
Question: Last night my wife asked me: 'what is that ridge in your backside?' 'The long thin one? You don't want to know' I replied 'No, not that one, the red, ridgy one on your left buttock.' I had been having this strange soreness in my left buttock for about a week and just couldn't put my finger on it (not supple at all). It wasn't until this morning when I pulled on the jeans that I had been wearing for the last week, in a half asleep motion to change Dylan's nappy, that I noticed something hard and metallic in the rear pocket. It was my steel guitar capo. I had been sitting on it for a week, and it had left a deep red capo shaped indentation in my bottom. So, let that be a lesson to you all. Do not underestimate the disfigurative power of the guitar capo. I had been wondering where it was, but couldn't be arsed to look for it.
