They are called the Senate. They are a local trio, 2 acoustics and 1 stand up bass.
The play "face-melting acoustic rock" literally any show of theirs you go to you lose a little bit of facial tissue.
They have a new live CD/DVD out, its cool. There is a CD of the show and a DVD of the exact same thing.
The best live show that i have ever been to. People are jumping around, never witnessed a better vibe in my lifetime.

I was a little bummed myself. Literally the best live show I have ever been to. In between songs they joke around, its like a standup comedy routine along with awesome music.
Fun fact: they all used to be in a thrash metal band together. Then they quite the metal and went acoustic.

I was at this festival here in Seattle called Bumbershoot. Its this ginormous concert type thing.
Two shows were playing Mudhoney was in one stage and Flogging Molley in the other. I wanted to see Mudhoney and a few friends wanted to see Flogging Molley. So our group split up. After the show we meet up and my friend Kenney has this rag on his head and blood is just pouring out of his skull.
I start freaking out "kenney what happened"
and here it comes
He replies very calmly "I got flogged by Molly"
Idk it was pretty funny, what he said not the injury. he had to have stitches. He apparently fell in the mosh pit and someone stepped on his head.
Thats all I know about that band.
