WE ARE GOING TO ELECT THE OLD WHITE REPUBLICAN.
We're going to lose our nerve about the whole Obama thing and go with the dried up old conservative. This will occur for several reasons. First, the Democratic party has royally fucked up. They allowed Obama and Hillary to polarize their party. They have effectively split the vote. Second, America doesn't have the balls to elect Obama. Simple as that. For all the hand-wringing and wrangling, McCain will win the election in November.
And we'll continue to have Republican presidents until a) the Democrats wise up and run an effective campaign, b) a third party makes a serious bid for the office, or c) forever.
Let me reiterate: I would love for Obama to be elected, but it will not happen.
