he's grown into his own skin, does his own stuff, and now he doesn't even remotely resemble his father (in terms of acting, kind of roles, style, etc)
u're mistaken if u think the hype around him is due to his family background. if that was the case then there wudda been hype around him from 2000 when he debuted. but he SUCKED then! now he's given hits in 2004. majority of hits in 2005 were his, he's won 2 supporting actor awards... and is proving himself as an actor more than anything else... ur basis for judgement is flawed...

He is not better than Shahrukh Khan and will take him ages to be where Shahrukh is... Yea, his career has gotten better after teh success of some movies but he still has a long way to go.
