Hey , wat's up..I guess im new here, Anyways music plays a large part in my life, and I was just curious of what type of music or specific bands/artists people on this site like to listen to. Personally, I like a myriad of genres, but I mainly listen to Indie rock, . I noticed most people on this site listen to hip hop..and in fact a lot of desi's in general seem to listen to hip hop and act in a certain way. My brother and cousins are prime examples of people who perpetuate the desi "gangsta" sterotype. Or at least, if there is no sterotype, I seem to have a certain perception of one. Anyways if anyone at all cares, here is a list of some of the bands/artists I listen to, only a few..the ones I could think up at the top of my head (If your interested in the same music as me , send me a message and i'll be extremely estatic to recommend or send you some songs)

damn, quite a few peeps like rock ... sweet as :). Yeah Thrice fucking rock man ... they're like my idols. I'm not a groupie or nething, but if I ever got to meet those dudes I'd just be like speechless. They're fucking amazing. I listen to a lotta hardcore too (Hopesfall, Remembering Never.) Problem with hardcore bands is that a lot of them are fucking racist ..
I play drums btw ... I play with a really good friend of mine who plays guitar. Who mostly play covers ... wish I Could play in a proper band though ... would be a dream come true.

I play guitar, although i really suck cause i'mso lazy when it comes to practicing, my roomate plays bass and my other one also plays guitar, were trying to get something started, but we just have to freakin practice.

Sweden has a really good scene ... Satanic Surfers, The Hives are both swedish ... and of course Millencollin. Switzerland has a pretty small hardcore scene ... it's mostly oi and punk rock ... I wish I lived in Cal ... Would rock! What's the latest concert u dudes and dudettes been to?

haha, i wished i lived in europe, it's much more free and liberal there then in the united states. But cali does have some pretty good bands and some pretty crappy bands as well. We have a hardcore scene going on in orange county..but also soooo many punk bands/oi bands. umm hmm the last concert i went to, was blonde redhead i believe. As far as shows, i go to them all the time, but thier mostly local unheard of bands.There's a lot of great venue's here though. I really want to visit sweden, I met someone people from sweden and they were all in pretty cool bands, and of course refused, hives.. came from there haha. Oh yeah iw as in a band once when i was 16.but we were only togetther fora month like chop suey, and split and were just crap haha.
