Welcome to www.todayaq.com !!!

Which Actors do you associate with only ONE role??

Question:
Was watching the POTA TV series last night and it occurred to me that whenever I think of Roddy McDowell I always think of Galen  (yes,I know he played different apes in the movies)
It got me thinking as to what other actors I only associate the one role with.
The only other one I could think of was Arnie as the Terminator.
More I thought of,(with other roles in brackets that failed to include them in my list) where:
Clint Eastwood : Dirty Harry : ("The Man With No Name" )
Sylvester Stallone : Rocky (Rambo)
Anyone else care to add to this with actors they think of mainly as just the one role??

hmmm... sure about those ones?
Charles Bronson... Once Upon a Time in the West, the Dirty Dozen, the Magnificent Seven, the Great Escape. I know which I'd rather be remembered for ;)
Orson Welles.. The Third Man.. and er... Transformers ;)
okay lots of minor others but none as memorable as CK and the Third Man... almost got me.
Kurt Russell - The Thing, Breakdown, Stargate etc... Elvis?
and shame on whoever said Alec Guiness.. the poor guy was in a lot more than just Star Wars.. (which he hated but $$$ from).
Dr Zhivago, Lawrence of Arabia, Tinker Tailor and any of about 6 Ealing comedies.
definitely agree with the Peter Falk and William Shatner mentions though.

first Alec Guiness, now Kirk Douglas, Gene Hackman and Paul Newman... scary!
being a bit harsh surely... all 3 of them have done 60-70 films in their time and at least have some diversity and never been typecast like some of the names mentioned.
for example,
Paul Newman - the verdict, butch cassidy, the sting...
Gene Hackman - the conversation, superman, unforgiven, the poseidon adventure...
Kirk Douglas - the vikings, the bad & the beautiful, lust for life, list of adrian messenger..
I rest my case!
do I win by suggesting every Bond girl? :)
thats at least 20-30 actresses for starters.

Yeah, he's in the animated series of Starship Troopers. Shame he's been a typecast from having that voice, a bit like Michael Wincott.
